Guide
How to choose brand colors
A strong brand palette is small, intentional, and flexible. Here is how to choose colors that last.
Start from personality
List a few adjectives for your brand (e.g. calm, bold, premium) and choose a primary color that matches. Color carries meaning — pick deliberately.
Keep it small
Most brands need just 3–5 core colors: a primary, one or two supports, an accent, and a neutral. Add tints and shades for flexibility.
Test in context
A color can look great as a swatch and fail as a button or text. Preview it in real UI and check contrast with the contrast checker.
Document it
Record HEX values, roles, and usage rules so your brand stays consistent. Export from the brand palette generator.
