Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-06
This policy explains what PalettePulse stores, what third parties may process, how advertising and analytics cookies work, and the choices you have. By using this site you agree to this policy.
Who we are
PalettePulse (“we”, “us”) operates this website and its color tools. Contact: hello@palettepulse.dev.
Information we collect
- Palettes you save are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers and we cannot read them.
- If you email us, we use your name, email address, and message only to respond and keep support records.
- Technical data our hosting, security, and analytics providers may process, such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, approximate region, pages viewed, and performance events.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use local storage for saved palettes and to remember preferences. We and our partners may use cookies for security, analytics, and advertising. See our Cookie Policy for details and controls.
Advertising
We may display ads served by third-party advertising vendors, including Google. These vendors may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick / Google ad cookies) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized ads at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
- Where required, ads shown to you may be non-personalized based on your consent or region; non-personalized ads still use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and fraud/abuse prevention.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the tools. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
How we use information
- To provide and maintain the color tools and restore your local palette library.
- To keep the site secure, measure performance, and fix bugs.
- To respond to support, privacy, accessibility, and partnership requests.
- To display and measure advertising, where applicable.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR applies, we process data based on legitimate interests (securing and improving the site), consent (for non-essential cookies and personalized ads), and to respond to your requests. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Clear saved palettes, local storage, cookies, and cached data via your browser settings.
- Manage ad personalization with the opt-out links above.
- Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or object to certain processing. Email hello@palettepulse.dev.
- We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the ad cookies described above, which you can opt out of.
Data retention
Saved palettes remain in your browser until you clear them. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and meet recordkeeping obligations.
Children
PalettePulse is a general-audience tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Security & international transfers
We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Our providers may process data in countries other than yours under appropriate safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
